• Specialty pulls for the light and fan on a ceiling fan.  There's no reason that she can't turn her light or her fan on and off as she needs.  You can find cool little pulls pretty much anywhere.  I just picked up a couple extra packages of chain.  My handy dandy needlenosed pliers did the rest.  The Puddin' loves it - I just keep getting bonked on the nose when I walk through there.
• Light switch and outlet covers.  I know that some of these specialty covers are ridiculously expensive.  They're cool as all get out nonetheless.  The Purposeful Pack Rat in me keeps an eye out for clearance items.  Even if I don't have a project looming, if I see a design that I like, I know I'll use it.  The PPR is responsible for these Dora covers - they were on clearance months ago for less than half their original price - BONUS!  The Puddin' loves Dora-so everybody's happy.
• Splurge on the nightlight.  For little kids, that nightlight gets a lot of mileage.  It's something that can be used for years and years.  Spending a little money to get something cute and timeless (at least for a while), is a decent idea here.  Especially when you're talking $10 or less.
• Location, location, location.  In continuance of that desire to make the world of her more accessible to her, I scattered colorful hooks around the room so that she can easily hang up and get to things like her coat, bathrobe, etc.
